Welcome! My name is Pam Doremus. I am a Usui/Karuna Reiki Master/Teacher and
have taught yoga for more than eight years.
The combination can change your life!
I was fortunate to grow up in the beginning end of a very large circle of cousins. Here we are in 1974, fourteen of us around my Gramma. There are two more yet to come. I'm the one in the white top and plaid skirt on the left in the second(ish) row. Blocking my cousin, sorry Natalie.
Having such a large family makes a secure place to strike out in new and different directions. My first was the Naval Academy, moving on to the Philippines, where I met my husband, then to Italy, where we had our first child.
As a 1988 graduate of the US Naval
Academy, you can imagine that I approach energy healing and yoga in a very
different manner from many others. I
love to get into the specifics, what things are, why they work and how to use
them effectively to change my life. Life becomes much more interesting when you
play the “What if …” game. What if I committed
to tracking my daily habits? What if I
learned to do a handstand using a doorway?
What if? What if? What if?
After playing around with things, then I pass them along to my students
and use their experiences to refine my own.
I am a mental packrat, gathering
tips and tricks for energy healing, loads of great books, and all kinds
of interesting experiences. My intent is
to pass on the paths and guides that have helped and informed me. My best guides have always been my husband and children. Here they are hiking in Skagway, Alaska.
We are taught by those we live with. As we say in yoga, namaste "the divine in me salutes the divine in you." Those boys have taught me more than I have taught them. Join me in a journey to create our best
selves. Let me know what you’d like to
learn about, or your interesting experiences so I can learn from you as well.
Put on your hiking boots and let’s step off the edge together. Blessings
to you all, Pam

Hi Pam, I just watched your Reiki grid video & wanted to do one to help my 18 year old grandson cope with his A level exams on 23 May.
ReplyDeleteHe has Asperger’s & although extremely clever, he fails due to his anxiousness.
I am not sure what I should write on the paper, should I write, I ask that he has no stress & anxiety & that he gets excellent marks hi his exams.
Any help/advice you can offer me would be of great assistance.
Thank you.
Best wishes.
